Morris Northcutt is a versatile trumpet soloist and Schilke Performing Artist whose career bridges classical concert halls, Latin traditions, and cinematic recordings. His rich cultural heritage as the son of a Korean immigrant influences his artistry that's been recognized on international stages and in projects considered for numerous awards. Beyond his solo albums—including Tonada and Moliendo Café—Northcutt has collaborated with Grammy‑winning artists, performed across multiple continents, and contributed to video game and film soundtracks. Known for his lyrical phrasing and refined sound, he continues to champion music that crosses genres and cultures.
About Justo Morao
Justo Morao is a Latin Grammy–nominated arranger, conductor, and producer known for innovative orchestrations and collaborations with award-winning artists, including trumpet soloist Morris Northcutt. A magna cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music and voting member of the Latin Recording Academy, he has orchestrated for acclaimed films (El rumor de las piedras, La Ley) and produced the Grammy-nominated Latin American Classics with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Venezuela. He continues to create dynamic music for film, television, and the concert stage worldwide.
